Britt Craig has just launched his new Hard Traveller Music domain right here at HostBaby.
Britt has been busy the past few months trying to save the street music in St. Augustine.
For now the "authoriities" have won. The police are relentlessly chasing the street musicans off the local streets, and into a "designated" area. "No one goes there to listen " says Britt.
One of the main attractions in St. Augustine was the local colour provided by the street musicians and other performers; the artists, the artisans ... now St. Augustine's streets are clear of all this ...
Tourists used to come to the little town precisely to experience the local music and street scene. the place seems pretty dead nowadays, no street music to entertain you, no jugglers, no artists, no artisans - just the stores.
Britt says that he will be widening his search area for active street music to other areas, since St. Augustine has now dried up as a vibrant source of raw street music.
